Membership Seminar

If you have ever been curious about becoming a member of Redemption City Church, now is a good time to explore the process even further. On Saturday, September 30th, we will be holding a membership seminar for those who are interested or curious about what membership entails.

Attending the seminar doesn't place any obligation on you; it's just a way to learn. It's also a good time to learn about why we at Redemption City Church value membership. Membership is a form of public declaration of commitment to this place, to your home church. It is a way to put your stake in the ground in terms of how you will employ your time, money, and spiritual gifts in the life of the church. It is also an important form of accountability in the church, with members and pastors involved in a relationship of care and confidence.

We hope you'll join us Saturday, 9/30, from 9am to 1pm.  Click Here to register or for more information email info@redemptioncityboston.com

Women's Book Study

Hebrews 13 verses 7-8 say “Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

This summer, the women are invited to read and gather to talk about a book called “Faithful Women and their Extraordinary God” by Noel Piper.  It’s a small book with 5 short biographies of women who have gone before us, who have trusted in God through sometimes mundane, and sometimes life-altering circumstances.  We’re praying that their varied examples point us to the Savior who never changes, who is the same personal God for us today in whatever circumstances we find ourselves.

There are only 4 dates we’ll be gathering this summer, so please calendar them in and do whatever you can to make it to every one.  Each chapter and discussion will be different.

We’ll be meeting at the church office located in Downtown at 7:00 PM, on the following Mondays: June 12, June 26, July 10, and July 24.

Books are available at Redemption City.  Make sure to grab one at one of our Sunday gatherings and drop $10.50 in the offering box to cover the cost of the book.

Women's Summer Book Study

Women -- join us for our Summer Book Study beginning on June 4th!

As disciples of Christ, we aim to know and treasure God above all else. Yet, we won't be successful in this unless we know and treasure God's Word. One way we can encourage each other in studying God's Word is by committing to study it together. This summer, City Groups will be on break, and we’ve done our best to organize our summer book study in such a way that it’s easy for you to find a group that works in your schedule.

For nine weeks during the months of June and July, each group will be going through the book of Galatians paired with Tim Keller's book guide, "Galatians For You". Here is our rough timeline:

Saturday, June 4th, 10AM - book study kick-off
Monday, June 6th - groups begin meeting weekly (7 weeks total)
Saturday, July 30th, 4PM - book study re-cap/celebration

To sign up for a study group, please use the form below. Go ahead and purchase the "Galatians For You" guide here, and please make sure to have your book by June 4th. Audio and e-books are available as well. If the book doesn’t fit in your budget right now, just let us know and we’ll hook you up. Have questions? Contact Debbie Maclean.

Baptism Sunday

Baptism is a biblical means of outwardly celebrating an internal, heart-transforming work of Christ.

Come celebrate with us as our brothers and sisters get baptized on Sunday, February 21st. We will be hearing their incredible stories of salvation and rejoicing alongside them for the gift of God's grace. We encourage any and all to join us for this special day!

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." Romans 6:4
